Fall is the time of year for flannels, Oktoberfest and DIY projects :)
I did a simple craft project for this blogs outfit. My BFF and I made "Danke Schon" shirts to wear to the parade and fest in La Crosse. Danke Schon translates to Thank you very much in German, we always say it to each other and we thought it would be fun for the fest.
We ordered white letters to iron on to our plaids that were purchased second hand. The project was fast and mess free! The iron on letters give you a nice clean finish that is ready to wear almost instantly.
I wore stacked sterling stud earrings and rings with fingerless mittens from Pointelle Design to add to the edgy vibe of my look. The mittens were also very functional for holding chilled drinks and keeping my hands cozy.
Even though it was sunny it still felt like a fall day, so boots were the obvious choice! I wore some boots from my favorite brand A.S.98, and they are so comfortable and cool! Another element added to the edgy plaid style.
What's an Oktoberfest without some brats! Good food and good style, what's not to love!
Danke Schon!
