Pops of Purps

Hello!

If you're from Madison, WI you will totally agree that today was B-E-A Utiful! I hope you had a chance to get some fresh March air and a little bit of sunshine, it will go a long way after being cooped up inside all winter. But enough about the weather (we hope it sticks around!) let's talk about what awesome things you can wear when this weather comes about.

The overalls are vintage and I was lucky enough to find them at good old Dig and Save. My sweater, belt, and purse are vintage as well. Pops of Purps comes from two of my accessories. One being my awesome Marc Jacobs glasses and the other my vintage belt! The accessory that keeps my outfit from getting too cutesy are my Jeffrey Campbell flats that I got from (shoo) during a previous spring.

 I went with an outfit I could wear not only inside but outside and comfortably without adding or taking off layers. It has seemed like a life time since I have been able to do this! I believe the trick to this is all about the material you choose to wear. My sweater is chunky but yet very breathable because of its large knitting. It is also not a long sweater so what you see is almost all that is there, the denim is basically a single layer. That made my outfit especially nice today because I had to do errands and then after I relaxed in the sun!

Don't be afraid to take chances with vintage items! I have never worn overalls in public until today and 

I had a lot of fun with it! :)
