Today was another beautiful day in Wisconsin! It was also my sisters baby shower! My sister and her husband both do not know the sex of the baby and they want to be surprised, so I wanted to wear a neutral baby blue.
My family is most definitely casual, so as much as I wanted to wear my light blue heels. The Supergas gave my outfit a casual and comfy look. Even though it is still officially winter, it is impossible to dress that way with this crazy nice weather this week.
I had to make sure that my outfit was comfortable. It was a four hour ordeal and I also helped with set up and cleaning after. Flowy tops = amazing for stuffing your face! Really though, you know you'll eat at family events so I wanted a relaxed fit.
My awesome hat was only $3 on sale at H&M! I always find trendy things there! It's a great store to find some inexpensive trends you want to try with out emptying the wallet.
You can never go wrong with a Vintage Dooney bag. This one from my collection was perfect, it's cream leather paired nicely with my pants, hat, and flowy top. Also featured above are some pieces from local Madison artists! One being myself, the other Laura of Pointelle Designs. My handmade rings above are not yet listed on my Etsy but similar styles will be up within the next couple of days! Laura handcrafted my cute hankie and tiny bracelets, check out what else she has at (shoo)!
And of coarse... last but not least, my baby blue nails! I always think its fun when your nails match the rest of the outfit.
